I found the font “Maris Halftone Medium” on MyFonts.com and I really like it. The font has an uneven outline and whimsical, pinhole texture. The texture does not show at the size I used it here but would be cute if used hundreds of points high on a banner or something. A lot of the letters in Maris have fun flourishes that worked out well for my Happy Birthday design.

Knitting Stamp Illustration

Fabric was knitted by machine then photographed. The photo was converted to a digital vector image in Adobe Illustrator so it can be used at any size. I created a red colored version, the color of my yarn, and also this black and white.
